Oversee fault and performance management services which collect real time data from switching networks spanning the globe. Evaluate and assess customers’ needs and infrastructure. Execute implementation plan for the installation and support of the proprietary NETRAC software and applications including NETRAC technology, Oracle, Weblogic, Sybase ASE, and communication protocols (SNMP, TL1, TCP/IP, CORBA). Utilize C++, Ksh, Csh & SQL programming languages, Sun Solaris and Windows operating systems, and Sybase and Oracle database software. Collaborate with management to standardize operational procedures. Evaluate NETRAC software performance. Analyze technical requirements of potential users of the company’s products to determine feasibility of proposed applications within time and cost constraints. Provide guidance to Network Operating Center team on all NETRAC application aspects (GUI, server, tools). Maintain NETRAC Operation Support System (OSS) and Business Support System (BSS) application for telecommunication providers. Identify and resolve connectivity problems with various protocols, such as SNMP, Telnet, and TL1 via NETRAC. Troubleshoot, analyze and support NETRAC’s processes on UNIX platform and maintain NETRAC’s databases on Sybase ASE platform and Oracle platform. Train customer System Administrators regarding the maintenance, customization and support for NETRAC applications. Add new multi-vendor Network Elements to the NETRAC application for monitoring and managing purposes. Install, customize and support various software modules of TEOCO. Define and rewrite new modules for the NETRAC system according to customer requirements.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or Physics plus 4 years of experience in a programming analysis occupation.
