London, UK – 4 May 2021 – Element Materials Technology (Element) has acquired AIRCOM Labs (a TEOCO owned Company), a leading conformance testing provider to the wireless devices market’s primary network operators. The acquisition significantly strengthens Element’s services within the fast growing 5G and connected technologies market, and is highly complementary to the Group’s capabilities in North America, Europe and Asia.

AIRCOM Labs holds a prominent position in the provision of carrier acceptance and conformance solutions, specializing in device testing for the world’s leading Tier 1 mobile device manufacturers. The company maintains approval with all three major US network operators, providing industry-validated testing methodologies to measure device performance on live operator networks, and maintaining industry certifications across all relevant test areas, including GCF, PTCRB and CTIA.

The AIRCOM Labs team of 60+ experts operates from two state-of-the-art facilities in the US; a laboratory in Silicon Valley, CA and 5G Centre of Expertise in the heart of the telecom industry in Dallas, TX. The acquisition builds on Element’s existing strength in wireless, safety and electromagnetic compatibility testing, bolstered by the Group’s 2020 acquisition of PCTEST, bringing with it 5G testing capability and a full suite of connected devices testing and certification services.
