Turkcell is the largest mobile operator in Turkey, with 56% market share. In 2018 it had more than 32 million mobile subscribers (post-paid and pre-paid), along with 3.4 million TV customers and 1.4 million fiber customers. Turkcell launched LTE-Advanced services in April 2016 across 81 cities, and its services cover 99.75% of the population of Turkey. In 2018 Turkcell received the highest Net Promoter Score (NPS) for customer satisfaction in Turkey’s consumer mobile segment.

Challenge

Turkcell previously used TEOCO’s OPTIMA performance management system, but the needs of its NFV/SDN-enabled network meant that the operator needed to upgrade to a more future-proof tool.

TEOCO’s Solution

In 2017, Turkcell re-selected TEOCO, upgrading to our Helix Performance Management solution.
The solution included 45 performance management interfaces, onsite expertise, and integration with TEOCO’s Mentor solution. With Helix, Turkcell is able to monitor its network from end-to-end, enabling it to identify and correct faults more quickly, and to optimize its network more efficiently.
