TEOCO provides state-of-the-art device testing, monitoring and benchmarking solutions to the world’s leading device manufacturers, CSPs and regulators.

With ever increasing customer expectations of network performance and the growth of the Internet of Things resulting in many more devices on the network, certification, monitoring and benchmarking of devices will become even more critical than it is today.

Device certification

As communication technology advances, device testing becomes more complex and time consuming. Increased testing makes it challenging for equipment manufacturers to meet project deadlines. It can also impact network quality and time-to-market for devices, which is critical for commercial success. It is important for network operators to certify new devices to ensure they meet the minimum performance requirements before they are allowed onto the network where they could negatively affect subscribers, and the quality of Internet of Things (IoT) exchanges.

In the past 5 years, our device lab has tested over 900 devices, including phones, tablets, data cards, modules and chipsets from more than 45 manufacturers. Learn more about out lab testing and field testing services.

On-device analytics

In addition to device validation and certification, it is important to monitor device performance in the network. Our INsync Mobile solution delivers the most comprehensive approach by delivering customer experience analytics and service performance via an on-device measurement approach. Enabling not only device performance validation but also visibility into customer quality of experience(QoE) and service performance. Learn more about INsync Mobile here.

Device monitoring and troubleshooting

For a solution with a broader reach and lighter touch the device performance module of Mentor, our RAN optimization and analytics solution, provides a countrywide view of device statistics, including KPIs per device names and vendor. This allows engineers to isolate problematic device models and even individual devices. This is particularly useful to validate performance per device model when launching new services. Learn more about Mentor’s device performance capabilities here.
