This role is responsible for defining effective and innovative positioning and messaging for the TEOCO Network Planning and OSS product portfolio and ensuring that this is clearly articulated through to the marketing communications, sales, and technical sales teams. The role will include creating supporting material such as presentations, collateral and user examples. The ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into customer benefits is critical as well as being a key link between the product management, marketing communications and sales teams.

Minimum 3 years’ experience within telecommunications industry essential – RAN Planning and/or Service Assurance

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, define and articulate the customer value and key sales propositions around each product
  • Develop messaging and positioning for products with compelling and unique business value propositions
  • Create value-based marketing collateral and sales tools to support sales and marketing activities such as datasheets, use cases, presentations, and website content
  • Ensure the TEOCO website and the corporate sales enablement portal are up to date
  • Work with the Marketing Communications team to develop innovative marketing programs and event campaigns that increase market awareness and drive product demand
  • Define the business objectives and key messages for sales up-sell and cross-sell campaigns
  • Create user business cases and use examples for proposals and sales collateral
  • Ensure product teams are aware of competitor capabilities and that we have strong sales messages to address competition and position our portfolio
  • Conduct market research and input to Product Management on market and industry trends
  • Gather market requirements from the Sales team and customers and feed them back into Product Management
  • Ensure the customer reference and customer success story portfolios remains current

KEY DELIVERABLES

  • Creation of PowerPoint decks for sales enablement
  • Product brochures, case studies, success stories
  • Product briefs – outlining positioning, value, USPs to be used as input for product collateral
  • Competitor product analysis and comparisons
  • Proven success delivering measurable marketing results.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders, at various levels and in different locations, with the ability to drive alignment.
  • Able to combine strategic thinking together with high-speed tactical execution.

EDUCATION & SKILLS

  • Excellent understanding of PowerPoint
  • Excellent written, oral and visual communication skills
  • Technical background, with experience in mobile telecommunications
  • Strong technical skills with ability to relate technical aspects to user requirements
  • Previous experience with an operator would be a plus
  • Experience as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
  • Excellent teamwork skills
