We are seeking a technical, self-motivated Java Developers to have hands-on responsibility for driving custom enhancements and major product initiatives for TEOCO.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing custom business solutions from end-to-end based on requirements and client needs
  • Developing, testing and deploying database-driven applications using a variety of technologies such as ASP.Net, MVC, HTML5. Knowledge of Java/J2EE, SQL relational and MPP databases is desirable.
  • Interfacing with the internal business team to define requirements; develop code and unit test your solutions.
  • Leading/participating in design and code reviews
  • Each project will require various technical skills and therefore requires a well-rounded, experienced, and adaptable individual.
  • Working independently and as a member of a team spread over different time zones.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or a related field, Master’s Degree preferred.

Required Skills

  • Fluent in English Language
  • 1-3 years programming experience using agile development methodologies
  • 1-3 years hands-on experience in Web UI design using HTML/CSS/Javascript
  • 1-3 years of experience in Microsoft C#.Net
  • 1-3 years of experience in SQL
  • 1-3 years of experience in ASP.NET
  • Development experience with the production and consumption of RESTful Web Services
  • Strong background in building database-driven Web applications
  • Programming experience using agile development methodologies
  • Experience with Object-Oriented Design Patterns
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a geographically diverse team

Desirable

  • Experience in Angular (or similar) /HTML 5.0/CSS/Javascript/JSON
  • Experience with Java/J2EE
  • Background in fault tolerant system design
  • Experience with service bus architectures
  • Experience with Oracle
  • Prior work on a Scrum team
  • Strong background in building database-driven Windows and Web applications
  • Adept at User Interface design trends and techniques
  • Knowledge of telecom industry and billing/inventory systems a plus
