The Senior European Sales Director will be responsible for driving sales growth of the TEOCO solution portfolio.  Leading and managing a sales team and regional sales managers across Northern, Southern and Central Europe.   The primary performance metrics for the role are pipeline and major accounts development, bookings, revenue and related forecast accuracy.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Development and successful execution of TEOCO sales strategies across TEOCO’s portfolio for Northern, Southern and Central Europe (excluding Nordics and CIS regions)
  • Driving a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement
  • Active management of the sales team and regional sales managers
  • Initiate and manage relationships with C-level decision makers and participate directly in closing strategic opportunities
  • Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Manage bookings and pipeline while providing detailed and accurate forecasting for all of Europe
  • Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes
  • Develop sales negotiation strategies and perform front-line negotiations when required
  • Hire and develop sales personnel
  • Define and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs to motivate the sales team

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10 years minimum Executive Level sales experience in consultative, software solution selling to the telecom industry
  • 10 years minimum experience managing sales teams
  • An ability to sell in a “consultative” manner that develops opportunities that are not readily apparent
  • A track record of building and growing software/solution sales in Europe
  • Successful and consistent achievement of annual sales booking targets
  • Demonstrable proficiency in leading collaborative “solution selling” sales efforts involving multiple customer and Internal stakeholders
  • Ability to understand and present TEOCO’s solutions
  • A team player who is driven by achievement and success
  • Strong communication skills to clearly express ideas, listen, adjust language or terminology to suit the needs of the audience
  • Sense of urgency and assertiveness
  • Extensive travel throughout Europe approximately 50% of the time
