Fairfax, VA – April 26th, 2011 – TEOCO Corporation, the market leader in Network Cost Management, Least Cost Routing, Revenue Management and Service Assurance solutions for communications providers worldwide, is pleased to announce the selection of TTI Telecom’s TrafficGuard solution as a finalist for the TMF Solution Excellence Award.

TTI’s TrafficGuard solution proactively assures quality of service by detecting irregular network and service behavior in real-time and generates Threshold Crossing Alarms (TCAs) based on “Smart Thresholds”. TTI’s TrafficGuard provides eight types of threshold definitions over available Operational Measurements Key Performance Indicators, Key Quality Indicators and xDRs. Once these thresholds are met, TTI’s TrafficGuard generates meaningful alerts that can be distributed to external systems easily.

TTI’s TrafficGuard helps improve customer satisfaction, reduce churn, and increase revenue by proactively generating TCAs to pinpoint potential problems before they impact performance, including irregular network behavior and service degradation. It also helps to reduce operating expenses by proactively assuring service availability and minimizing the occurrence of costly outages.

Although new to the market, the efficiency of TTI’s TrafficGuard has already been proven with several customers. “We are extremely honored to be a finalist for the TMF Solution Excellence award,” said Eitan Naor, General Manager of Service Assurance. “TMF sets the standard for excellence in our industry and it is important that our solutions follow the TMF Frameworx. To be included as a finalist shows the commitment to excellence we give to each of our solutions, and the value we provide to our customers.”

The TMF Solution Excellence award is presented to the supplier or system integrator demonstrating the most innovative and effective use of TM Forum Frameworx to deliver tangible cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
