Our switch translation automation solution receives output from our interconnect cost management solution and incorporates additional core routing functions in order to finalize the Optimal Cost Routing Model (OCRM) for insertion into the network routing tables. The OCRM is then converted into the native language of the different network elements throughout your network and then can automatically input the results into the network. Some of the additional core routing capabilities handled include automatically building Local Exchange Routing Guide (LERG) translations to reflect the latest NPA / NXX activity. These additional capabilities include splits, switch activations and deactivations as well as tandem re-homes. Routing problems are minimized by automating these tasks and by standardizing translations across all network switches – resulting in improved customer satisfaction and improved margins.
